This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules there under as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000.

This document is published in accordance with the provisions of Rule 3 (1) of the Information Technology (Intermediaries guidelines) Rules, 2011 that require publishing the rules and regulations, privacy policy and user agreement for access or usage of www.chennaibatterybazaar.com website.

Your use of Chennai Battery Bazaar {including www.chennaibatterybazaar.com (hereinafter referred to as "Website") and related sites, services, and tools} is governed by the following terms and conditions as applicable to the Website.

Chennai battery bazaar provides its services to you subject to the notices, terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.

Chennai Battery Bazaar is a project owned and managed by Chennai Battery Bazaar, a company with a registered office in Cchennai.

By using the Website in any manner, including but not limited to visiting or browsing the Website, you (the "user" or "you") agree to be bound by this Agreement, including those additional terms and conditions, rules, policies, guidelines referenced herein and/or available by hyperlinks.

This Agreement applies to all users of the Website, including without limitation users who are vendors, customers, merchants, contributors of content, information and other materials or services on the Website.

‘You’ shall also mean any natural or legal person who has agreed to become a member of the Website by providing Registration Data (as defined hereinafter) while registering on the Website as Registered User using the computer systems of the Website and accepted this electronic version / electronic record of the User Agreement.

Service Partner Eligibility Requirements

1. Service Partner should have active GST number as regular taxpayer type.
2. Service Partner should have minimum 2 years of experience in handling the renowned brand of products.
3. Service Partner should have experienced service personnel with adequate tools & vehicle to assure the timely delivery and installation (excludes wiring) at customer end.
4. Service Partner should maintain adequate stock for the appointed brand or product.
5. Billing format should be followed as prescribed in the GST norms only.
6. Service Partner should have knowledge in handling smart phones. Most communications will be through SMS, Whatsapp, e-mails & CBB Portal only.
7. All business transactions through CBB must be properly accounted for government agencies’ assessment.
8. Service Partner should achieve customer satisfaction upon delivery & installation (excludes wiring).
9. The price mentioned in the Order Copy by CBB is final. The Service Partner is not authorised to alter the price or change the product or brand without CBB’s approval.
10. Any transit damage from Service Partner’s end should be borne by the Service Partner only.
11. Service Partner has to supply products with manufacturing date less than 5 months.
12. If any sub-standard product is supplied by the Service Partner to the customer, it is the Service Partner’s responsibility to replace the product without any additional charges.
13. Service Partner can suggest any specific product, brand or model which is available with them for display in the Website (It will be displayed only if the brand & product meets the CBB norms).
14. Service Partner should file their GST returns regularly before the due dates.
15. If non-compliance situation arises, CBB has the rights to cancel the Service Partner registration and settle their accounts.
16. Order Processing procedures and commercial terms will be available in Service Partner Login page.
17. After verification of the above and acceptance confirmation by the Service Partner, individual login account will be created for Service Partner in CBB’s website.
18. Any issues arising out of not following the rules of government agencies should be handled by the Service Partner only

Amendments:

CBB may amend this User Agreement and Terms & Conditions mentioned in this document at any time as it find appropriate. These amendments will be determined at Chennai Battery Bazaar's sole discretion, in good faith, and using common sense and reasonable judgment. CBB in not bound to notify Customers about these amendments.

Membership Eligibility:

Use of the Website is available only to persons who can form legally binding contracts under Indian Contract Act, 1872. Persons who are "incompetent to contract" within the meaning of the Indian Contract Act, 1872 including minors, un-discharged insolvents, etc. are not eligible to use the Website.

Registration Compliance and Your Account Obligations:

You agree to provide, maintain and update the data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by Chennai Battery Bazaar's registration form, profile generation, etc.

You agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content. In addition, Customer must abide by Chennai Battery Bazaar's Terms & Conditions stated in this document.

Age:

If you are a minor i.e. under the age of 18 years, you shall not register as a member of the Website and shall not sell or purchase any items on the Website. As a minor, if you wish to purchase or sell an item on the Website, your legal guardian or parents who have registered as users of the Website may make such purchase or sale. This provision is void where prohibited by law and the right to access the Site is revoked in such jurisdictions.

Password:

Keep your password secure. You are fully responsible for all activity, liability, and damage resulting from your failure to maintain password confidentiality. You agree to immediately notify the Chennai Battery Bazaar of any unauthorized use of your password or any breach of security. You also agree that Chennai Battery Bazaar cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to keep your password secure.

Account Transfer:

You may not transfer or sell your Chennai Battery Bazaar account and User ID to another party.

Right to Refuse Service:

Chennai Battery Bazaar's services are not available to temporarily or indefinitely suspended Chennai Battery Bazaar members. Chennai Battery Bazaar reserves the right to refuse any of its services to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

Chennai Battery Bazaar reserves the right to terminate your membership and refuse to provide you access to the Website any time at its discretion.

Electronic Communications:

When You use the Website or send emails or other data, information or communication to Chennai Battery Bazaar, You agree and understand that You are communicating with Chennai Battery Bazaar through electronic records and You consent to receive communications via electronic records from Chennai Battery Bazaar periodically and as and when required. Chennai Battery Bazaar will communicate with you by email or electronic records on the Chennai Battery Bazaar Website, which will be deemed adequate service of notice / electronic record.
